NAR Global Alliances - Philippines

Philippine real estate practitioners can now be part of the prestigious, century-old, US-based National Association of Realtors® (NAR) by applying with CREBA as International Realtor Member (IRM).

IRMs enjoy exclusive use of the distinctive and globally recognized REALTOR® trademark and logo, access to the largest online real estate library in the world, a searchable international brokers directory and other tools proven to leverage real estate professionals in international business.

The NAR – representing over 1.1 million members in the US and in 60 countries worldwide, and CREBA – the Philippine property sector’s umbrella organization, entered into an agreement designating the latter as the NAR’s official cooperating association in the country.

The NAR-CREBA cooperation aims to promote strict adherence to the highest ethical standards among the country’s real estate practitioners, to make them more competitive in the global real estate community.

The REALTORS® Legislative Meetings is where NAR members take an active role to advance the cause of the real estate industry, public policy and the association. REALTORS® come to the Washington, DC area for Capitol Hill visits, special issues forums, committee meetings, legislative activities, policy conversations with lawmakers and industry leaders, and the industry trade show.

Representing the Philippines in this year’s event was CREBA President Noel “Toti” M. Cariño, this year’s NAR international director, while NAR Global Real Estate Liaison Vicky Silvano spearheaded meetings and discussions to explore global opportunities for Filipino real estate professionals through NAR’s state-level associations.

The 2022 Legislative Meetings focused on the theme “Protecting Rights, Expanding Access & Building Prosperity”. It was held May 1-6 at the National Harbor – situated on the banks of the Potomac River and home to the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, the East Coast’s largest non-gaming hotel and convention center.
