Tandag City starts gov’t employee housing project

The Tandag city government and PAG-IBIG Fund recently signed an agreement for the development of the Green Valley Subdivision, a 490-unit housing project in Barangay Rosario, Tandag City for the city’s employees.
The agreement was signed by city mayor Roxanne T. Pimentel and Pag-IBIG CEO Marilene C. Acosta.
The Pag-IBIG chief said that the project is the first countryside housing initiative (CHI) in Surigao del Sur, for which the city government provided the land consisting of of 89,514 square meters.
Acosta said that the project, which involves the building of one-story duplex units with eaves, is in support of the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) program of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., which envisions constructing six million housing units over the next six years.
