CAROLINA Q. ALVAREZ

Carol’s wealth of experience developed over a span of 40 years as a licensed real estate broker, appraiser and consultant for almost 40 years is highlighted not only by her innumerable local and global-scale undertakings with various corporations but even more so by her extensive works with government and private organizations in the advancement of the Philippine real estate profession particularly in the areas of valuation, taxation and finance.

A seasoned lecturer and real estate licensure reviewer, she served multiple terms as president and chairman of the Philippine Association of Realty Appraisers (PARA), president and chairman of the Philippine Real Estate Consultants and Specialists (PARCS), treasurer of the Realty Service Council of the Philippines (RESCOP), and president of the Parañaque-Las Piñas, Alabang Real Estate Board (PLAREB).

As a member of the Bureau of Internal Revenue’s Executive Committee for Property Valuation, Carol assists in the continued updating of zonal values in the Makati, Taguig, Pateros, Pasay, Parañaque, Las Piñas and Muntinlupa Areas. She also provided expert technical advisory in the development and eventual adoption of the Philippine Valuation Standards, a major output of the Philippine-Australia bilateral partnership that launched the Land Administration and Management Project for the Bureau of Local Government Finance of the Department of Finance between 2008 and 2010.
