Heart in the right place

It is a common perception that trade organizations are peopled by hard-nosed businessmen or indifferent professionals.

A look at CREBA’s history will show that it is not cut from the same cloth.

It has been the Chamber’s time-honored tradition, in times of calamity, to immediately mobilize its resources to lend a helping hand to those in dire need.

2020 COVID Outreach

When the country went on lockdown at the height of the COVID pandemic, thousands of workers were displaced. CREBA immediately responded with its program “Tulong na Bigas sa Manggagawang Hirap”.

The program entailed the distribution of some 6,000 sacks of rice to various barangays, in coordination with local authorities.

The donations were made possible with the support of CREBA members and chapters nationwide, as well as international friends and partners from the US-based National Association of Realtors.

Cainta Municipal Mayor Kit Nieto receives 1,000 rice packs for distribution to various Barangays.

The 5th District of Manila receives 1,000 rice packs from CREBA through Cong. Cristal Bagatsing.

Philippine Navy and Marines personnel receive at least 1,000 rice packs from CREBA at Marikina’s Bayanihan Center.

CREBA turns-over rice packs for more than 2,000 families from 12 Barangays in Pasig City led by Mayor Vico Sotto through the Barangay Affairs Office.

The rice packs for week-long assistance to displaced worker families arrives at the Taytay Municipal Hall in cooperation with Mayor Joric Gacula and the Social Work & Dev’t. Office.
