Wilfredo L. Segovia

Wilfredo “Willy” Segovia finished BS Civil Engineering, Magna cum laude, from the University of San Agustin, Iloilo City, in 1967. In that year he was One of the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines. He pursued MBA studies at the Ateneo and obtained his MBA degree from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila.

After working overseas for 7 years, he came back to the Philippines and founded the Segovia Group. Today, three companies comprise the Segovia Group – W.L. Segovia & Associates, Inc., Segovia Development Corporation, and Metroheart Properties, Inc.

Engineer Segovia is a proficient Civil-Structural engineer with 40 years of experience. He is also a licensed Real Estate Broker for 25 years and in 2013, he passed two other board examinations – as Real Estate Appraiser (8th placer) and Real Estate Consultant (2nd placer). He also obtained professional engineer’s license in the US Territory of Guam.

He has served in many civic organizations, including the JCI Makati as president, Rotary Club Makati Central as president, and Rotary International District 3810 as district governor. In the real estate service sector, he served as president of the country’s oldest real estate organization – Manila Board of Realtors in 2013.
