Twenty-seven CREBA scholars received their Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Management (BS-REM) degree during the recent commencement rites of the prestigious University of Batangas in Lipa City, Batangas.
The 4-year BS-REM scholarship program is part of an academic partnership inked by CREBA and the University in 2018 to assist underprivileged but deserving students earn the degree, consistent with the Chamber’s advocacy to support the growth and professionalization of the country’s real estate sector.
The scholars, representing the “cream of the crop” from among Batangas’ various cities and towns, were jointly selected by CREBA and the Batangas Forum composed of Batangas-based business leaders after a series of daunting interviews and a rigorous screening process based on the university’s strict criteria for academic admission and grant of scholarship.
The commencement ceremony was graced by University of Batangas President Hernando “Nani” B. Perez.
